Happy Heart Day 2013

Since I sucked at taking pictures through the Christmas Holidays I made a BIG effort to take pictures for this lovely holiday, Valentines!

Let me start by saying I love doing these things for my family to show them I love them so much and we have so much fun together!

The night before Valentine's we made heart shaped pizzas!

My homemade banner I whipped out in 5 Minutes, kind of cute!

Valentine's morning the kids were served Breakfast in Bed with Red Velvet heart shaped pancakes.

Rich gave me Roses, first time for this girl to EVER receive a dozen Roses

Nellie in her "pink" outfit ready for her Valentine Party at Pre-School

For Dinner that night I prepared all French Food. We started with French Onion soup, Beef Bourguignon from Julia Child's cookbook, Asparagus, Red Jell-o (so not French) and Eclairs! I was so proud of my Eclairs, nothing I bake ever turns out and these were so pretty!

This picture cracks me up, a child was behind the camera I'm sure. Poor Rich discovered smack dab in the middle of our dinner that he is allergic to Asparagus. Needless to say he had leftovers the following night of the remaining dishes.

The kids' doors were heart attacked for several days prior to Valentines. It was a fun new tradition<3 br="">
Rileigh missed out on her picture. What a fun year to celebrate the one's we love. I have been reminded a lot lately that life is too short and enjoy all the good stuff and just to roll with the crappy stuff as it comes.
