What Spring is All ABOUT

Memorial Weekend my parents invited the kids and I to to the gravesides, if I blog about it the kids will remember it as a fun memory, right?
Some that we went to were my Great Grandfather Roundy who was in WWI and my Grandpa Thatcher who was in WWII, and my my most missed Grandma Mansfield, whom I named Rileigh after.
I started dating Rich one month to the date before my Grandma passed and he never met her.  I think all the time I wished he could have met her and wished she could have been here to see my kids grow up. I am the second to the last of twenty grandkids, but I was her favorite! I truly believe she had a hand with blessing me with the kids I have today. Real funny Grandma...two at a time and red heads!

Rich was a virgin to the whole Moab thing, so he planned a "Mancation" with some friends over Memorial.

He was given a couple nick names by his fellow travelers that I thought were fitting... Cookie, he was the cook for the trip. Poncho, he forgot any kind of coat and it probably rained 40% of the time so he wore a 50 cent poncho to stay dry. They River Rafted, Mountain Biked and what ever else four dudes do on a camping trip.

My Nellie is 9 months old, she is an active thing and growing up way too fast. She is such a good baby. She does not like baby food, she truly knows when it comes from a bottle with the Gerber name on it, she waves her arms in the air at the spoon after just one bite. She loves all things round, balloons, balls and spaghettios.

Logan has been doing soccer and this year has been significantly better than the last two, the first year, he was 3 yrs. old, he would sit inside the netting of the goal. This year he shoots and scores and keeps score and lets all the kids know what the score is.

Rileigh had one of two dance performances and I was told by her Dance Teacher, Mrs. Peak to apply a good amount of make-up so we could see her face. She refuses to wear mascara so I put eye liner on her. Needless to say her dad did not appreciate all the make-up I put on his little girl.

I myself, well I participated in the Ogden Half Marathon, do I have a picture to prove it, NO! Rich took a picture of me sitting on the grass half ways hunched over dealing with post race bowel issues, you runners no what I am talking about.
What a long post I have not blogged forever, life has been too crazy and goes by too fast for me.
