1. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design.
2. Show the 7 winners names on your blog.
3. List 10 honest things about yourself.
1. I snack all day long on anything and everything. I find my kids candy and steal it, I sometimes get busted by them. Not a very good example, I know. For example, today I ate probably about six snicker doodle cookies, they were not even that great or worth the calories, but I still indulged.
2. I believe I have this eating disorder called finishitis, meaning when something is almost gone it needs to be eaten all GONE! Like the cookie jar, why just let one lonely cookie stay there all alone, IT MUST BE EATEN GONE, ALL GONE! Or a bag of Chex Mix, finish it right? Why let an eighth of the bag sit in the pantry for someone else to finish off it's remaining morsels, no it must be eaten GONE.
3. If my husband makes little hints about something that is bugging him that is in my power to fix, I do it and expect some kind of appreciation or acknowledgement in return. Just last night he commented that "Someday he's going to come home and the bed would be made." I swiftly commented that if he ever came home before I undo the bed to go to bed myself at night, he then might see that "YES" the bed does get made!
4. I believe freezer meals that are exchanged between friends are making me lazy. I very seldom cook anymore and when I do I suck at it. I burnt an egg the other morning! However, I love freezer meals they have been amazing in so many ways.
5. I am dreading homework that before I know it my kids will be bringing home. I am already dreading homework. For you moms and dads that are already dealing with this on a weekly basis, my hats off to you!
6. I would not be a runner if it were not for my friends. They push me to do it and encourage me to have a purpose in training for a run that is already keeping me up at night! AGGHHH! I know I can do it so I will continue training and eating snicker doodles.
7. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. One day it has got to hit me in the face. That is how I'm hoping to figure it out. I know I am a mother and I love it and wouldn't want it any other way. But, I am suppose to be really, really good at one thing and that is what I am trying to find out. What am I really good at in this life and how can I use that to help myself and others. I have no idea.
8. I will graduate from college someday, that I will do and am determined to do so. There I said it openly so it must be done.
9. These are getting shorter and shorter as I am running out of ten things about me. I don't want my kids to grow up, ever. Teenagers freak me out, so does having a toddler around. Listening to friends with teenagers, it all sounds so expensive and the drama. Then to just watch other toddlers exhausts me and I don't know if I have the energy.
10. I love life and try to live it to the fullest each and every day. This is such a great opportunity to stay home with my kids and have this time with them while they are young.
Good Luck to you all I am tagging Janelle H., Mandy W., Amy B., Brooke W., Leigh, Tami M., Tami E., and Alissa G. okay that was eight instead of seven, I'll be lucky to see two responses! LOL
