Nellie's class danced to a Disney Tarzan song! It was super cute. This
is such a fun age to watch them dance and have the courage to be in
front of so many people. Her weekly practices were a struggle to get her
to go to. So I was able to get her very nice dance teacher, Tricia Buss to pick her up and
take her to dance each week. If I went and dropped her off she hung on my leg and
would not let me leave. If I stayed to watch she would sit on my lap and not participate in class.
When it came time to costumes and her two performances I was shocked she
actually participated and knew the dance! Thanks Tricia!!! Nellie's class took 1st Place at the Lagoon competition.
Rileigh danced to "Hola My Friend."It is a Zumba song that kept the
girls shaking and moving. She has not been in dance since she was 4
years old. This year of dance was awesome for her. She loved it and
really improved a lot over the course of the year. At least that is what
her teacher told me, but I totally agree. With Rileigh being one of the
tallest girls in the class she assisted with their pyramid in the last
count of the song. Too bad we were out of town when their classes
competed at Lagoon. Rileigh's class took second place!!! Way to go girls.
