I love Girls Ski Day. I was especially looking forward to it this year to ski without children. So glad that my kids ski BUT to ski a day with no children is such a joy. When all you have to worry about is one set of ski gear rather than four sets of ski gear.
However my friends do act like children at times too. Given the fact that we are all over talkers. We would willingly stop in the middle of ski runs to chat FOREVER. I think secretly some legs were screaming for breaks so to break it up we would stop and chat about the most random topics. For example, Rachel filled us in on the latest and greatest face cream on the market. I seemed to have a piece of toast in my helmet and had to stop and get all the crumbs out of my hair. At this point we stopped and cobble squated right smack dab in the middle of a run. Ski Patrol came up and asked if someone was injured. Oh no, we are just chatting about who knows what???
We then had ski patrol following us for a bit either out of boredom or just the simple fact that we are a bunch of hot mommas!
Then Liz was the leader on the last run and took us through the park where we screamed and jumped off stuff that we had no business doing. It was the end of the ski day, my knees were so mad at me.
Needless to say we had a blast and got to eat fabulous food and pee is fabulous bathrooms. So not my typical ski day which is normally Top Ramen noodles and peeing in a cement cave with no heat. Both cases I will gladly take given the fact that I am skiing in the great outdoors!
Thanks to my sponsor Mrs. Wallace for the buddy pass!

I loved Tricia's birthday ski day!! I missed most of those conversations because that was when you guys were waiting for me!! And yes those chatting breaks were for me! My legs were on fire that day! It was so much fun I loved skiing with everyone the only problem with that day was who made me stand next to Tricia in a picture!! She weighs 8 pounds! :) For sure one of my favorite ski days this year or ever maybe.
