This Easter weekend we ventured to the Dinosaur Park for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Rich was a sponsor in the car show that was being held in the parking lot. He displayed the Bee car front and center, it was pretty cool!
So I stuck with the older kiddoes and Rich took Nellie with the younger kids for the big hunt to begin. I, the mom, forgot the Easter Baskets for the gathering of eggs :( so Rich grabbed the nearest dog poop bag for the Nellsters to collect eggs in!?!?
I never thought in a million years there would be enough eggs to go around. The Dino Park was packed to the brim. We all counted down from ten and the kids were off. Sure enough there were plenty of eggs to go around. It was a little chilly, Rileigh was not feeling too great but it was still really fun.
We later dyed our Easter Eggs with cousin Kat right before the Easter Bunny hopped into our town.
So there are no amazing Homemade Easter skirts that were completed to report about. Boo Hoo! The trip to Cali totally has thrown me off and I have 2% of the Easter Skirts done to date. When they are complete they will get a special post...next year! Ha ha.
Easter was celebrated after church at our house. Our Easter Bunny hides them baskets so good every year. Logan and Rileigh's were outside this year. Logan got a new Scooter, Rileigh got Roller Blades and Nellie got a swimming pool. That dumb Easter Bunny should know we can't swim in Mtn. Green for months. Nellie cried for a good hour wanting to "go swimn"
